Research Library
An open archive of timelines, sector maps, datasets, and historical analyses that underpin our editorial work. The Library is published in stages through 2026 and 2027.
The Transatlantic Chronology
A curated timeline of twenty pivotal moments in the transatlantic relationship, each one a point at which European people, money, or ideas measurably altered the course of American development. Every entry is dated, sourced, and cross-referenced to the companies and innovators in our Directory. The Chronology is the spine of the publication's editorial argument.
This resource is in editorial preparation and will be published in Q3 2026.
Sector Maps
A set of visual maps showing how European-rooted founders, firms, and innovations are distributed across the twelve industry sectors of our Directory — from finance and pharmaceuticals to aerospace and consumer goods. Each map identifies where European influence concentrated, where it was decisive, and where American enterprise developed independently.
This resource is in editorial preparation and will be published in Q3 2026.
Country of Origin Index
An interactive reference organising our entire Directory by country of origin, from Germany and Italy to Sweden, Spain, and beyond. Select a country to see the American companies, founders, and innovators whose roots trace to it — a tool for understanding which national traditions shaped which corners of American life.

Datasets & Sources
The raw material behind the publication: the datasets, tables, and source records on which our company profiles, biographies, and timelines are built. Each dataset is published with its citations and a note on method, so that readers, researchers, and institutional partners can verify our work and build on it.
This resource is in editorial preparation and will be published in Q4 2026.
Bibliography
A consolidated bibliography of every authoritative source cited across the publication — corporate archives, academic studies, government records, and historical references. Organised for scholarly use, it reflects the documentary standard to which every entry in the publication is held.
This resource is in editorial preparation and will be published in Q4 2026.
Methodology Notes
The principles that govern the publication: how we define a "European-rooted" American company, how we distinguish strict, first-generation, and European-owned tiers, how we fact-check and source each entry, and how we treat the complicated histories our subjects sometimes carry. This is the editorial constitution of the project.
